Over the past few weeks, at Beyond Hosting, we have begun work on a 'transitional period' in which we are attempting to form a full level of service redundancy for each and every one of our clients. In an effort to do so, we have begun to forge a partnership with midPhase's 10TB.com, through which we aim to provide 2-level systems-wide redundancy for each of our clients' services, fully ensuring that, at a moment's notice, we can provide 100% failover for each and every client utilizing services on our network.

WHAT THIS MEANS FOR OUR CURRENT CLIENTS:

This means, in-short, that in the event of a severe issue at one of our network providers, that we will be able to (virtually) instantly switch each client to a synchronous version of their current services, powered on systems hosted by an alternate network partner -- in fact, this will also mean that, in most circumstances, we can allow individual clients a choice of datacenter/locality (2 geographically-diverse US-based locations will be available) from which their service will be 'homed' by-default.

WHAT THIS MEANS FOR FUTURE/RETURNING CLIENTS:

The effects of this partnership for our clients is twofold:

• At 10TB, IP allocations are MUCH more expedient than at our AlphaRed-based datacenters
• 10TB-based servers also are covered by a much-more "robust" automated service monitoring and issue resolution system, offering average 100%-automated non-hardware issue resolutions averaging within a 10-20 minute timeframe, 24/7/365.

In the past few weeks, we've been working with our network (and software) partners to further enhance the availability of our most highly-requested service, VPS Hosting, to both new and current customers alike...

• NEW OPERATING SYSTEMS: We've now made 'rapid-deployment' versions of some of our most-requested Operating Systems, including Debian 4.0 (etch) and Gentoo 2008.0...Also, we're currently putting the finishing touches on Quality Assurance for rapid rollout versions of CentOS 5.2 and Fedora 9.0
• ON-STOCK IP ADDRESSING: We've now made proper arrangements with our network partners to keep IP addresses in-stock for new VPS setups...This means that, finally, we'll be back to our usual 6-8 hour turnaround times for new orders.

We are pleased to officially unveil the newly-revamped Beyond Hosting Web Site - now with a cleaner, sleeker design, finely re-tuned to optimize the viewing, browsing, and searching experience of both current and new customers alike.

Among The New Features:
* More Up-Front Information: From the newly-added partner/provider/solution logos, to a fully re-worked purchasing process, we've touched on the end-user experience at every level, based on feedback from customers who noted that we previously provided *very* sparse detail as to our ordering and provisioning mechanisms.
* More Pro-Active Feedback: At the ordering system's level, we've made the pre-build customization of each 'pre-packed' Managed Hosting service more intuitive, error/failure-resistant, and thourough, thus resulting in a much quicker and smoother process from order-to-release for both VPS and Shared Hosting customers.
* Improved VPS Provisioning: Based on on-going research of VPS customers' resource utilization, and experiences with resource shortage-related behavior, we've fine-tuned our VPS rollout procedures, resulting in both more trouble-free VPS setups, and, at the same time, higher-performance VPS systems.

And, that's not all... We've also freshened-up our lineup of Standard Hosting packages, now offering more than 2 times the features of our previous line-ups, and, as usual, with the same great low prices you've come to know us for!

But, wait, there's more where that all came from... We've even re-touched the VPS Service upgrades system...Now, we have 'standardized' at-order pricing options for VPS resource add-ons (this, of course, doesn't do away with our long-standing 'contact your DBAM for better prices' policy!)...This just means that we now have a *much* more reliable way to track, handle, and maintain on-order customizations for our new (and current) clients who require them for their newly-purchased services, cutting down on both annoying troubleshooting incidents, and, at the same time, allowing us to better maintain high hardware performance for you and our other customers!

Oh, and, what's more...We now provide 'off-the-shelf'-type pricing and on-demand licensing/re-provisioning for customers using (or wishing to make use of) cPanel on their VPS systems.
